Brodsworth Hall, near Doncaster, was acquired in 1713 by George Hay, Viscount Dupplin, who became 8th Earl of Kinnoull in 1719. After his death in 1758, it became the home of Thomas Hay, 9th Earl of Kinnoull and of his younger brother, Robert Hay-Drummond.
