Miss Arnold was probably the natural daughter of Morris Robinson, Elizabeth Montagu’s brother. She lived for most of her life with Sarah Scott, and was a member of her community in Batheaston and Hitcham. She was accepted as a member of the Robinson family, though she was never openly acknowledged by her father. She died in London 23 August 1807.
