Lieutenant-General Charles Cathcart, 9th Lord Cathcart (1721-1776), was a British soldier and diplomat. He was aide-de-camp to the Duke of Cumberland at the Battle of Culloden, and was British Ambassador to the court of Catherine the Great in Russia from 1768-1772.
