The Reverend William Gilbank (1740-1807) was Rector of St Ethelburga, London from 1775- 3 Jan 1807. He acted as tutor to Matthew Montagu and Domestic Chaplain to the Duke of Gloucester, 1781-1807 and was the author of The Scripture history of Abraham; The day of Pentecost, a poem and a collection of Sermons.
