Admiral Sir Peircy Brett (1709-1781) was an officer in the Royal Navy, and MP for Queensborough from 1754-1774. He was promoted to Vice-Admiral in 1770 and full Admiral in 1778. He married Henrietta Colby, and they a daughter, and two sons who died in infancy. They lived at the Clock House at Beckenham in Kent.
