Elizabeth Boughton (c1746-1823) married Clotworthy Upton (1721-1785), 1st Baron Templetown, in 1769; their home was at Castle Upton in Templepatrick, County Antrim. He served as Clerk Comptroller to Augusta, Dowager Princess of Wales, from 1761-1772. She was an artist specialising in cut-paper work, and some of her designs were used by Josiah Wedgwood for his jasperware. She was Lady of the Bedchamber to Princess Amelia and nursed her during her final illness; the Princess left her a legacy of £2,000.
