George Finch (1753-1826), 9th Earl of Winchilsea, only son of Lady Charlotte Finch and Daniel Finch, 8th Earl of Winchilsea. He died unmarried at the age of 73, and his natural son George Finch inherited Burley House in Rutland and married the daughter of the 7th Duke of Beaufort. He was a keen if unsuccessful cricketer, and one of the founders of Lord’s cricket ground and of the Marylebone Cricket Club.
