Henry Herbert, Baron Porchester (20 Aug.1741-3 June 1811). From 1768-1780 he served as Whig MP for Wilton before being ennobled. In 1793 he was made Earl of Carnarvon. Henry Herbert, Baron Porchester (20 Aug.1741-3 June 1811). His residence was at High Clere set within a park designed by Capability Brown. The estate was five miles south of Newbury, Berkshire.
