John Tylney, formerly Child, Viscount Castlemaine (1712-1784), son of Richard Child, 1st Earl Tylney (1680-1750) and Dorothy Glynne of Henley Park, Surrey. Dorothy Glynne was the heiress to the property of her maternal grandfather Frederick Tylney of Tylney Hall. After this inheritance Richard Child and his sons adopted the surname of Tylney in 1734. John Tylney became 2nd Earl Tylney in 1750. He never married.
