John Bacon Sawrey Morrit (c.1772-1843) was the son of John Sawrey Morrit (1738-1791) and Anne Peirse (d. 1809). He inherited Rokeby Hall in 1791 on the death of his father. On 19 November 1803 he married Katherine Stanley (d. 1815). Both are buried in Rokeby Church.
