Cecilia Scott’s nephew Thomas Scott (Scotts Hall, Kent, 30 Nov 1755 – Lenham, Kent, 21 Dec 1791) was the son of Edward Scott (1700-1765) and Margaret Sutherland (1725-1818). He was Rector of Denton from 1785 to 1791.
