Brownlow North (1741-1820), the son of Francis North, 1st Earl of Guilford and Elizabeth Kaye Legge, the dowager Viscountess Lewisham. North married Henrietta Maria Bannister (d. 1796) on 17 January 1771. His half-brother was Frederick North, Lord North, who was Prime Minister between 1770 and 1782.
