Thomas Morgan (d.1743) was a religious controversialist. He was originally a Dissenting preacher, then a Quaker healer and finally a deist. He published a work called The Moral Philosopher, whose first volume appeared in 1737, and strongly attacked Judaism and the Old Testament. He believed in the possibility of divine inspiration but rejected organised religion and the possibility of miracles.
